Embria® Health Sciences’ VP of Scientific Affairs to Provide EpiCor® Research Update at SupplySide West
ANKENY, Iowa, October 18, 2007—- Embria® Health Sciences, a raw material manufacturer of science-backed natural ingredients for the human nutrition market, announced today it will host the VendorWorks presentation, “EpiCor® Science Update: Promoting Health with a Balanced Immune System,” at the SupplySide West trade show at the Venetian and Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, November 7 from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. in seminar room #18073, Larry Robinson, Ph.D., vice president of scientific affairs for Embria Health Sciences, will discuss how the findings from recent in vitro and human clinical studies on EpiCor, an all-natural high-metabolite immune health ingredient, further validate the scientific concept of balanced immune response.Dr. Robinson has more than 25 years of experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and food ingredient industries, with additional expertise in microbiology, fermentation, enzymology, biotechnology and business development. He earned a bachelor’s degree with double majors in biology and psychology, a master’s degree in microbiology with a minor in biochemistry from Auburn University and a Ph.D. in microbiology from Rutgers University, followed by post- doctoral studies at the University of Minnesota.
